If you don’t know by now, we love Dr Martens, the Pascal boot in particular! It’s a classic silhouette but it’s the artful updates to this signature shoe that tickle our fancy! We are both wearing Dr. Martens’ Pascal “Splat” Boot! Glen is wearing the white  combo (looks like Glen stepped into white paint) and Bruce is wearing the Black Combo (looks like Bruce Stepped into black paint)!  Thank you Dr Marten for funking up our tosie wosies!

Everyday, we put ourselves to the “$100 or less” challenge! We calculate the cost of our full look, including the shoes, to see if we’ve been spending wisely. This all came about when we realized how much money we were spending on clothing and decided to make some adjustments.  It was difficult at first but we got the hang of it after a while.  We were certified, diagnosed(self) shopaholics!  We still shop quite often as it is the nature of our business but we have now set certain parameters and safeguards to keep from over doing it!

  1. Start a blog! You’ll get tons of free clothes all the time…lol. JK, but low-key serious!
  2. Can you tell that we like the sale section? As a rule of thumb, we never buy at full price unless we really looooove it! Save big! We are always so proud of our savings that we have a bad habit of telling people how much something cost when they compliment it…or maybe it’s the guilt we still sometimes feel for shopping, lol!
  3. Never buy high priced trendy items. In today and out tomorrow…participate in passing trends without spending too much mula.
  4.  Set a shopping budget and stick to it. Have someone that will hold you accountable. Tell a friend, a family member or your pastor!
  5.  DONT GO INTO THE STORE!!! Don’t use window shopping as a pass time. Window shopping turns into window buying 60% of the time.
#visualgunner x #bruceglen for the win!
